You Do Not Owe Darkness An Explanation
The sun is up, but the weight of yesterday's 'no' still feels like a crime you need to confess. You spent the morning apologizing for taking up space, for having boundaries, for finally choosing yourself.
But listen — you do not need to shrink back into the shadow just because the light has returned. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
If it does not shine, it is dark. Your 'no' was not a rejection of love; it was the first time you let that inner light actually shine.
You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. You do not owe the darkness an explanation for finally standing in the sun.
