The Light Rose Before You Spoke
The sun is up, but the silence in your chest feels like a verdict. You are afraid that your long quiet has finally convinced the Father to stop waiting, to turn away, to leave you outside the gate forever.
But look at the sky — the light did not wait for you to speak before it rose. It simply arrived, generous and unhurried, spilling over the horizon without asking permission.
The Father is not keeping score of your silence; he is running toward you while you are still rehearsing your apology. He saw you from a long way off.
He ran. Before the speech, before the promise, before you could even clean yourself up — he ran.
The silence was never rejection; it was just the distance he had to cross to reach you. You are not abandoned; you are being embraced.
