The Light Comes to the Empty
The sun is up, but the shame feels heavier than the night you just survived. You are running on empty, and the thought of reaching out makes your throat tighten — as if needing someone is the one thing you should have outgrown by now.
But look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
The light does not wait for you to fill your own cup before it arrives. It comes to the empty.
It comes to the asking. To admit you are out of strength is not a failure of faith — it is the only honest place where the gift can land.
You do not have to carry the morning alone. The hand is already open, waiting for yours to stop clutching and simply receive.
