The Face Beneath Is Already Loved
The hat feels heavy today, a small fortress against the one gaze you are not ready to meet. You walk through the morning performing wholeness, smiling while your hands tremble beneath the brim.
There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever, deeper than any hair or scar or change the mirror shows. The light does not need your covering to find you; it sees the root beneath the surface, the you that remains untouched by loss.
You are already known, completely and without condition, by the one who counts every strand before it falls. The mask is for them, but the face beneath is already loved.
