You Are the Ground Where Light Grows
The sun is up, but the shadow of last night's rejection is still stretching across your kitchen table. You saw the exact moment your child's hope turned into confusion, the moment the job that would have fixed everything vanished behind a form you filled out years ago.
The shame wants to tell you that you are defined by that mistake, that the light has moved on to people with cleaner records. But the light does not scan your history before it loves you.
It sees the parent who stayed, the one who is still here trying to explain the unexplainable with a breaking voice. The kingdom is not a reward for the perfect; it is inside you, right now, in the messy, aching reality of this morning.
You are not your worst day. You are the ground where the light has chosen to grow.
