The Dawn Does Not Judge Your Night
The sun is up, but the cold you feel is from yesterday, or maybe from twenty years ago. You hear your own voice turning sharp, repeating the silence you once feared, and the morning light feels like it's exposing a cycle you can't break.
But the dawn does not judge the night for being dark; it simply arrives, new and unburdened by what came before. The rising sun shines on those in the shadow of death to guide their feet into the path of peace.
That path is not walked by perfection, but by the simple courage of starting again. The light that woke up this morning is not the same light that went to sleep; it has already washed over you, softening the edges of your regret.
You are not your parent's silence. You are the new voice speaking into the day.
