The Sun Shines Before You Are Perfect
The sun is up, and you are already tired from holding your breath. You edit every sentence before it leaves your lips, terrified that one unguarded word will reveal the monster you believe lives inside.
But the rising sun does not wait for you to be perfect before it shines on your face. It simply arrives.
Tender mercy meets you right here, in the shadow of your own fear, to guide your feet into peace. You do not have to perform safety for the light to see you.
The light was already there before you started hiding. You are not a monster to be contained — you are a child of true Humanity, and that child is enough.
