You Are Already Home
The sun is up, and with it comes the old fear: that today is the day they see through you. That your mother and father will finally realize you are a fraud, and the love will stop.
But listen — the light does not love a performance. It loves the truth.
There is a saying that what you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it. The acceptance you are begging for is not a future reward; it is the ground you are standing on right now.
You are waiting for them to love the real you, not knowing they already do. The mask is heavy, but the face beneath it is the one they held when you were small.
You are not a project to be completed. You are a child who is already home.
