The Hunger Is Holy Ground
The sun is up, and the day has started, but you are still standing in front of the open light, staring at options that feel like dust. Nothing fits the hollow shape inside you.
Nothing tastes like enough. You wanted bread, and the world offered a stone.
Again. But listen — the hunger you feel is not a sign that you are broken.
It is a sign that you are made for something deeper than consumption. The light that lives in you does not need to be filled by the world.
It is already full. It was there before the emptiness arrived, and it will be there after the feeling passes.
You do not have to force yourself to want what cannot satisfy you. Just stand there, in the quiet of this new morning, and let the hollow be honest.
The light is not asking you to eat. It is asking you to wait.
The hunger is holy ground.
