rehearsing the testimony you'll give next sunday about a breakthrough you haven't actually felt yet

Rest Before the Harvest Comes

The sun is setting, and the armor of the day is finally heavy enough to put down. You are sitting in the quiet, rehearsing a story of breakthrough for next Sunday that you do not yet feel in your bones.

You are practicing the victory before the battle is won, trying to speak light into a room that still feels dark. There was a man who planted a seed and then went to sleep, not knowing how it grew while he rested.

The growth happened in the dark, without his help, without his performance. You do not have to manufacture the harvest tonight.

The light is not asking you to pretend the night is over before the dawn has actually arrived. The truth you will share next week is not a script you must memorize now.

It is a reality that is growing in the silence of this exhale. You are allowed to be tired.

You are allowed to be in the middle of the story, not just at the ending. The light does not need your rehearsal.

It only needs your rest.
