Light Working in Your Silence
The sun has gone down, and with it, the last thin thread of hope you were holding onto. You realize you have stopped expecting anything good to happen.
Not because you are angry, but because you are tired of the crash that follows the rise. You have learned to live in the flatline.
But listen — there is a promise that does not depend on your ability to hope. 'I am making everything new.' Not 'I will make,' someday, when you are strong enough to believe it.
I am making. Right now.
In the quiet of this evening, while you sit in the exhaustion of having given up. The light does not wait for your expectation to arrive before it begins its work.
It works in the silence. It moves in the dark.
You do not have to summon the energy to expect again. You only have to admit that you are empty.
And into that empty space, the new thing is already growing, whether you see it or not.
