The Dawn Does Not Interrogate You
The sun is rising, and with it comes the quiet dread of the day ahead. You feel the phantom vibration again—a ghost signal from a phone that isn't ringing, waiting for the moment someone asks you to explain the promise you made.
It feels like you are standing naked before a court that has not yet convened, rehearsing defenses for a charge you cannot name. But listen—the light does not arrive with an interrogation.
It arrives as a rising sun, tender and unhurried, shining specifically on those who have spent the night in the shadow of their own failures. You do not have to justify your existence to the dawn.
The light sees the promise you broke, and it sees the person who broke it, and it offers neither a lecture nor a demand for repayment. It simply guides your feet into the path of peace.
The day is not a trial you must pass. It is a gift you are allowed to receive.
