The Voice Behind the Mask Sets You Free
The mask feels heavy this morning, glued tight by the fear that if you finally speak, your voice will sound like a stranger's to the people who think they know you. You worry the cracks will show, that the real tone beneath the performance will be too foreign, too broken, too much.
But there is a voice that knows you better than you know yourself, and it has already heard the silence you are keeping. The light does not need your performance to recognize its own.
It waits behind the mask, not to judge the act, but to stand with the actor. You are not required to be seamless today.
You are only required to be present. The voice you fear is the one that will finally set you free.
