The Sun Rises On Your Silence
The sun is just touching the horizon, and you are staring at a screen full of words you typed in the dark. You wrote the truth.
The raw, shaking truth. And then, line by line, you deleted it.
You scraped away the confession until only a generic 'hey' remained, safe and empty. But listen — the light that is rising right now does not need your edited draft.
It saw the words before you erased them. It read the lines you were too afraid to send.
You do not have to speak the whole truth to be held by it. The sun rises on the silence just as surely as it rises on the song.
The 'hey' is enough for today. The rest can wait until you are ready to let it breathe.
