The Mask Is Heavy But The Light Sees You
The mask is heavy this morning. You have spent hours polishing the surface, terrified that a single crack will reveal the fraud underneath.
You walk into the room and everyone sees the performance, but the light sees the person holding it up. There is a truth that walks beside you, unseen by the crowd: the kingdom of God is within you, right now, beneath the armor you wear to survive.
You do not have to maintain the illusion for the light to recognize its own. Even when your hands shake and the smile feels fake, the truth living inside you remains untouched by the act.
The mask is for them. The light is for you.
