Your Voice Is The Lamp You Carry
The sun is just breaking the gray, and someone asks you a simple question: 'What do you want?' Your chest tightens. The panic rises—not because you don't know, but because you are terrified that speaking your truth will shatter the fragile peace you've built.
You swallow the answer. You say 'I don't mind.' You make yourself small to keep the world from shaking.
But listen—the light that rose this morning did not ask permission to shine. It simply broke the dark.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark.
Your voice is not a weapon; it is the lamp you were made to carry. The dawn does not worry that its light will ruin the night; it knows the night was already ending.
Speak your preference. The world will not end.
It will finally see you.
