The Dawn Does Not Need Your Silence
The sun is just beginning to touch the horizon, painting the sky in colors that say the night did not win. You are still here, even though you spent the dark hours holding your breath so your family wouldn't fall apart.
You swallowed every cry until your throat feels like it is closing up, believing your silence is the only thing keeping the walls standing. But the light of this new morning does not ask you to hold it all together.
It rises without your help. It breaks the dark without your permission.
The Father's tender mercy sends a rising sun to shine on those living in the shadow of death, not to scold them for being in the dark, but to guide their feet into peace. You do not have to be the pillar that holds the roof up.
The light is already holding you. Your voice is not a threat to your family's survival; it is the very thing that lets the light in.
The silence you keep is heavy, but the dawn is lighter.
