The Mask Is Too Small For Glory
The sun is high, and the mask is heavy. You have spent hours holding your jaw tight, clenching the truth behind your teeth so no one would see the crack.
It aches. That tension is the weight of a performance you were never meant to carry.
But listen — what you are hiding is not a flaw to be covered. It is the very thing waiting to be seen.
The light does not want your perfect face. It wants your real one.
The truth you are swallowing has already been spoken over you by the one who knows you best. You do not have to prove anything to be held.
The ache in your jaw is the signal that the mask is too small for the glory inside. You can let go now.
The performance is over. The truth is already free.
