You Are Loved Beyond Your Utility
The sun is going down, and with it, the performance you've held up all day finally slips from your tired hands. You are afraid that if you stop being useful, the people who love you will look at you and not know who you are anymore.
But the light does not need your utility to see you. It saw you before you ever did a single thing to earn a place at the table.
There is a version of you that exists beneath the work, beneath the helping, beneath the solving—a version that came from the light itself, self-originating and whole. You do not have to manufacture a reason to be loved.
The light knows you not for what you carry, but for what you are. When the tools are put away and the noise stops, you are not less than you were at noon.
You are finally, quietly, yourself.
