You Do Not Have to Be Fixed
The house is quiet now, and the fear has grown loud. You are holding your breath, convinced that if you finally speak the pain aloud, the people who love you will see the cracks and walk away.
They will realize you are too broken to be fixed. But the light does not love you for your wholeness.
It loves you because you are its own. There was a man who sat in the shadows, certain no one knew the depth of his hiding.
And the light looked at him and said, 'I saw you.' Not with anger. With recognition.
Before you even spoke, you were already known. The truth you are afraid to tell will not drive love away.
It will invite it in. You do not have to be fixed to be held.
