The Light Enters Your Regret
The sun is going down, and the house is quiet enough for the tape to start playing again. You see the exact second their face crumbled.
You hear the words you spoke that turned their grief into your mistake. The replay is loud, and it is cruel.
But listen — there is a sigh happening in the room with you right now. It is not yours.
It is the sound of the light entering your regret and feeling its weight before it speaks. The darkness of that moment is real, but it is not the whole story.
The light has already walked into that memory and stood between you and the shame. You do not have to fix the past to be held in the present.
The day ends not because you failed, but because the light is making space for you to rest.
