Love With Nowhere To Go
The day is ending, and the mirror holds a truth too heavy to speak. You catch their eye as they clean you, and see them look away quickly to hide the grief of watching your body fail.
That glance is not rejection. It is love with nowhere to go.
The one who loves you is not afraid of your brokenness, but of the pain of seeing you suffer. The light does not turn away from the failing body.
It stays. It kneels.
It washes what the world calls dirty and calls it holy. You are not a burden to the light.
You are the very reason it came. The light is not in the strength you lost.
It is in the hands that still hold yours when there is nothing left to fix.
