You Are The Canvas Not The Mistake
The sun is down, and the armor you wore all day finally feels too heavy to keep holding up. You sit in the quiet, terrified that the people who know you best can see right through the brave face to the child who believes they failed.
But listen — the light does not need you to be impressive to love you. It does not require a perfect record, only a present heart.
There was a man born blind, and his friends asked if his condition was a punishment for sin, a mark of failure. The light answered: neither this man nor his parents sinned.
The thing you carry is not a verdict on your worth. It is simply the place where the works of God might be displayed in you.
You are not the mistake your fear says you are. You are the canvas.
