The Sun Rises Before You Are Ready
The sun is coming up, but your eyes are fixed on that one second where you froze. The memory loops, sharp and unforgiving, while you lie perfectly still so no one hears you crying.
You think this failure defines the day before it has even begun. But the rising sun does not wait for you to be perfect before it shines.
It comes anyway, with tender mercy, to guide your feet into the path of peace. The light is not offended by your stillness.
It is already here, touching your face, reminding you that the darkness has not overcome it. You made it through the night.
That is enough.
