You Are Held Before You Speak
The sun is coming up, and with it comes the quiet terror that if you finally speak, you will be cast out. You have learned to hold your breath, believing your silence is the price of staying at the table.
But look at the light returning to the sky — it does not ask permission to shine. It simply breaks the dark because that is what it is.
You are not kept by your quietness. You are held by a love that runs toward you before you can even form an apology.
The Father does not need your silence to stay close. He needs your voice to come home.
Speak, and watch how the door opens wider.
