The Dark Is Not A Courtroom
The sun has gone down, and now the inventory begins. You are replaying every word you spoke today, cringing at the moments where you think you almost slipped up.
The darkness gathers not to hide you, but to hold the mirror up until your hands shake. You feel exposed, as if your mistakes are the only things that define you.
But there is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever. It does not leave when the day ends.
It does not vanish when you stumble over your words. The light is not a reward for a perfect performance; it is the ground you stand on even when you feel you have failed.
Tonight, stop trying to edit the past. The gathering dark is not a courtroom.
It is simply the space where you can finally stop running and remember that you are already held.
