The Light Walks Into Your Fire
The sun has gone down, and now the anger sits heavy in your chest, convincing you that this rage is the final wall between you and love. You are certain that if you speak the truth of your hurt, you will be cast out forever.
But listen — there was a woman caught in the act, dragged into the light by accusers ready to destroy her, yet the only voice that spoke did not condemn. It bent low.
It wrote in the dust. It waited for the noise to stop.
And then it said: neither do I condemn you. Your anger is not a stone in your hand.
It is a cry from a heart that still believes it can be heard. The light does not run from your fire; it walks right into it.
You are not exiled by your honesty. You are known by it.
