The sun has gone down, and in the quiet, one sharp word feels like proof that you are unlovable. The panic whispers that this mistake is the final one, the moment they will finally turn and leave.
But the light that lives inside you did not arrive because you were perfect. It came from the place where light generates itself, long before you spoke or failed.
You are not defined by the shadow of this evening, nor by the fear that tomorrow will bring abandonment. The truth is simpler, and it is older than your mistake: you came from the light, and to the light you belong.
They are not leaving because the love holding you is not based on your performance.
