When the mask falls, love remains
The house is quiet now, and the inventory of the day begins. You wonder if the version of you they know is a story you told, and if one day they will see the liar beneath the mask.
But the light does not deal in strangers. It knows that great love is shown not by perfection, but by the tears that wash the feet of truth.
You came from the light, and so did they. That shared origin means you can never be fully unknown to each other.
The lie cannot hold forever, but the light within you is waiting to be brought forth. When the mask falls, what remains is not a stranger, but a parent who finally stopped hiding.
