Light in the Failing Flesh
The sun has gone, and the inventory of the day begins to weigh on you—especially the parts of your body that no longer obey the dreams you once held. You feel the betrayal in your bones, the quiet ache of a vessel that cannot carry what the spirit still wants to build.
But listen: the light does not depend on your strength, or your health, or your ability to perform. It was there before the pain, and it is here now, waiting for you to stop moving.
There is a name written on a white stone that knows only your true self, not your limitations. The darkness gathers, yes, but it cannot overcome the light that lives inside the very flesh that feels like it's failing you.
You do not have to fix yourself tonight to be held.
