The Light Remains When You Are Gone
The sun has set, and the inventory of the day begins to weigh on your chest. You are terrified that your ending will be the unraveling of everyone you love—that your absence will leave them scattered, broken, without a center.
But listen closely. There is a Shepherd who knows each of them by name, and He does not lose what belongs to Him.
Your life was never the only thing holding them together. The light that lives in you also lives in them, independent of your breath, independent of your presence.
You are not the foundation they stand on; you are a fellow traveler walking beside them for a season. When your journey ends, the Light remains—and It will gather them closer than you ever could.
