The Light Sees You Behind The Mask
The sun has dipped below the line, and the armor you wore all day finally hits the floor with a heavy thud. You smiled when they asked how you were.
You laughed at the right moments. You performed 'okay' so perfectly that no one noticed you were drowning right in front of them.
And now, in the quiet of this room, the silence feels like proof that nobody truly sees you. But there is a light that does not need your performance to find you.
It saw the tremor in your hands before you hid them. It heard the crack in your voice before you smoothed it over.
The Good came into your midst not to applaud the mask, but to restore the essence of your nature to its root. You do not have to keep holding your breath.
The light is not waiting for you to be strong; it is waiting for you to be real. The crushing weight of being unseen is lying to you.
You are known completely, even in the parts you tried hardest to hide.
