The Light Knows You Before The Mistake
The sun is up, and the mask is already in place. You are walking through the morning motions, smiling at the right moments, while inside you are still rehearsing a speech no one asked for.
You are carrying a weight that exists only in your own mind, polishing a stone that no one else sees. But listen — there is a light inside you that knows the difference between your failure and your identity.
It does not need your apology to recognize you. It does not need your perfection to stay close.
What you are hiding is already known, and what you are fearing is already held. You do not have to earn your place in this room by being flawless.
The light was there before the mistake, and it is there now, quiet and steady beneath the noise. Put the speech down.
You are not your worst moment.
