The Light Sees a Friend Not Fraud
The sun has dipped below the horizon, and now the house is quiet enough for the replay to start. You are dissecting every pause, every word choice, convinced that today was the day they finally saw through you.
But the light does not see a fraud; it sees a friend. Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved him, not to expose his failure, but to heal the very memory you are reliving right now.
Your heart condemns you, calling it proof of your unworthiness, yet God is greater than your heart and knows the truth of your love better than your fear does. The exhaustion you feel is the weight of a mask you no longer need to carry.
Put it down. The day is done, and you are still loved.
