Seen While Still Speechless
The steam has cleared. The mirror is dry.
And the perfect sentence you rehearsed in the heat—the one that was going to fix everything, explain everything, say exactly what you needed to say—has evaporated, leaving you standing there with nothing. Mute.
Empty-handed. You practiced the speech, but now the moment is here and your throat is closed.
The light does not need your prepared words. It never asked for a performance.
In the silence of this gathering dark, the one who sees you does not wait for an explanation. He simply says: Go.
Go home. The healing was not in the speech you planned to give.
It was in the fact that you were seen while you were still speechless. You do not have to speak to be known.
