The Silence Is Not A Rejection
The silence after you speak your apology feels like a verdict. It feels like the door has been locked from the other side, confirming that you are too broken to be forgiven.
But in this hour, the light does not demand a response from the one you hurt. It does not require their voice to validate your worth.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark.
The light inside you is not dependent on their answer. It was there before the mistake, and it remains even in the quiet.
You are not waiting for permission to exist. You are waiting to remember that the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you.
When you come to know yourself, then you will be known. The silence is not a rejection.
It is simply space. And in that space, the light is still shining.
