The Silence Is Not A Punishment
The screen lights up in the dark, and for a second, your heart thinks it's them. But it's just the time.
Just the silence confirming what you already feared: that your boundary was heard as a rejection. That by saying 'no,' you made yourself unlovable.
But listen — the silence you feel is not a punishment. It is the space where the light is learning to speak without an echo.
You are not being ignored. You are being held in the quiet, exactly where you are.
The Father's love is not a text message waiting to arrive. It is the breath in your lungs right now, the light that woke you up before you even checked the phone.
It was there before the silence started. It will be there when the sun comes up.
The light does not depend on their reply to shine.
