The Light Holds You Before You Speak
The screen is still glowing, a small square of light in the heavy dark. Your thumb hovers over the send button, terrified that one more word will prove how broken you are.
But the light does not measure your desperation the way you do. It sees the trembling hand not as weakness, but as the place where love is trying to get out.
You are waiting for a sign that you are forgiven, yet the forgiveness was spoken before you even typed the first letter. Neither do I condemn you.
Go now. The phone can rest.
The light is already here, holding you in the silence you are so afraid of.
