The Light Waits in the Unsent
The screen glows in the gathering dark, a small rectangle holding words you cannot speak. You write the truth, then delete it.
You type the apology, then erase it. The cursor blinks like a heartbeat that refuses to settle, marking the space between what you feel and what you can send.
But the light does not wait for the message to arrive. It is already sitting with you in the silence of the unsent.
There is a presence that knows the words before you form them and loves you in the deleting. You do not have to hit send to be known.
The unsaid is not lost; it is held. The night is not a barrier between you and the light; it is the very place where the light waits without demanding a single word.
