The Light Waits in Your Silence
The room is quiet now, but your heart is shouting. Everyone is waiting for you to speak, and your mind has gone completely blank.
The terror of the pause feels like a spotlight on your inadequacy. You are certain they can see the emptiness behind your eyes.
But the light does not need your performance to be present. It was there before you opened your mouth, and it remains even in the silence.
There is a peace that does not depend on your ability to find the right words. The Father knows what you need before you ask.
You do not have to manufacture the prayer; you only have to receive it. The blankness is not a failure; it is an invitation to stop striving and simply be.
The light sees the panic, and it is not disappointed. It is waiting for you to realize that you are not the source.
Breathe. The words will come, or they won't.
Either way, you are held.
