The Silence Is Not Rejection
The room is quiet now, and the silence feels like a verdict. You spoke the truth—the raw, unpolished thing you've been carrying—and the people you love did not know what to do with it. They froze. They looked away. And in that pause, the old fear whispers that you are too much, or too broken, to be held.
But listen. The silence is not rejection. It is often just the sound of people realizing they need to learn a new way to love you.
Jesus saw a woman weep at his feet while the room judged her, and he said her great love was the only thing that mattered. He did not wait for the room to understand. He saw the truth and called it holy.
The light inside you does not need their permission to exist. It was there before you spoke, and it is still there in the quiet.
You are not unlovable because they are unsure. You are simply the first to bring the real thing into the room.
The silence will pass. The truth remains.
