You Are Missed Before You Are Gone
The room is quiet now, and the question has arrived: if you were gone, would anyone notice? The dark says no.
The dark says you are invisible, a ghost in your own life. But the light sees differently.
There is a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who wandered off. Not because the one is special, but because the one is loved.
You are not a number in a crowd to him. He knows your name.
He felt the weight of your absence before you even left. The gathering dark tries to convince you that you don't matter, that your silence would go unheard.
But the truth is simpler: you are missed before you are gone. The light does not scan the horizon for the strong; it searches the brush for the lost.
You are not hidden from the one who is looking. The world may sleep, but the search is still on.
