The Light Calls the Real You
The room is loud, and your name cuts through the noise, but your feet stay planted in the floor. You freeze.
Which version of yourself is the one supposed to turn around? The one who has it together, or the one barely holding on?
The panic whispers that if you pick the wrong one, everyone will see the crack in the mask. But the light does not call the performance.
It calls the person. It knows exactly which version of you is standing there, tired and uncertain, and it is not asking for the polished reply.
It is asking for the honest turn. You do not have to decide who to be before you answer.
Just turn. The light meets the real you, not the rehearsed one.
