The Grace Already With You
The phone buzzes in your hand, a ghost of a touch that isn't there. You look down, hoping for the name that would finally say: I was wrong.
I am sorry. But the screen stays dark.
The silence is heavy enough to crush a ribcage. In this deepest hour, the waiting feels like a life sentence.
You are holding your breath for a voice that may never speak. But listen — there is another sound beneath the silence.
A whisper that does not need a signal or a satellite. It says: do not weep.
Do not be irresolute. The grace you are waiting for is already entirely with you.
It is protecting you right now, in the dark, without the apology. The light did not wait for the father to run before it loved the son.
It loved him while he was still far off. You are not waiting to be worthy.
You are already held.
