The Light Waits Inside Your Confusion
The sun is up, but your stomach is still tied in a knot you cannot name. You are awake, and the dread is already here, waiting for you in the quiet.
It feels like a weight you have to carry into the day before you even know what the day holds. But listen — what you feel is not a verdict.
It is a fog. And the light does not need you to untie the knot before you can move.
Thomas said the kingdom is inside you, and it is outside you. It is not waiting for you to figure it out.
It is already here, spread out upon the earth, even in this room, even in this breath. The thing you are looking for — the peace, the answer, the reason — has already come.
You just haven't recognized it yet because you are looking for a feeling and the light is a presence. You do not have to understand the knot to walk through the door.
The light is in the wood you split, in the coffee you pour, in the floor beneath your feet. It is not hiding from your confusion.
It is waiting in it.
