The Light Loves the Truth Underneath
The sun is up, and you are already exhausted from holding the mask in place. You watch them move through the morning light and wonder if they would stay if they saw the mess behind your eyes.
You think you must polish the facade one more time to keep them from leaving. But the light does not love a performance.
It loves the truth that is hidden underneath. What you are hiding is not a reason for them to go—it is the very thing that lets them in.
The kingdom is not a place you earn by being perfect. It is already spread out upon the earth, right here in this imperfect room.
You do not need to be flawless to be held. You only need to be real.
