Light Waits Beneath the Frost
The night is gathering, and with it comes the cold suspicion that this numbness is not a season, but a permanent state. That the capacity to feel love has left you for good.
You are not broken beyond repair; you are simply asleep to the origin you came from. You came from the light, the place where light generates itself, and that origin cannot be erased by any amount of silence.
There is light within a person of light, and it waits only for you to remember it is there before it can shine again. The feeling may be gone tonight, but the source remains untouched beneath the frost.
