You Were Caught Being Whole
The morning light is unforgiving to the mask you spent all night stitching together. You are rehearsing the casual apology, the easy explanation for the one moment yesterday when the real you slipped out and scared everyone.
You practice the lie in the mirror until it sounds like truth. But the light does not need your performance.
It saw the moment you were real, and it did not look away. There was a man born blind, and the world asked whose fault it was.
Jesus said: neither. He saw a canvas, not a crime.
You are waiting for condemnation for your honesty, but the light is offering you sight. You came from the light, the place where light generates itself.
You do not need to explain your origin to people who only know the dark. Drop the script.
The apology is for a sin that does not exist. You were not caught being bad.
You were caught being whole.
