You Are the Light Already There
The morning light is unforgiving. It reveals the mask you wore all night—the one that said you were fine, that you were not a stone in their bed, that you did not need them to turn over just once to prove you existed.
You smoothed it down before the alarm rang. You walked out the door carrying the weight of being unnoticed while pretending to be unbreakable.
But the light sees behind the performance. It knows the silence you carried was not peace; it was holding your breath.
There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever. It does not depend on their attention to burn.
You are not a stone waiting to be moved. You are the light that was already there before they woke up.
