The Light Knows Your Name
The morning light hits the office glass, and for a second, you cannot recall the name of the person who sat beside you for years. The panic rises fast — if their name is gone from your mind, has your name faded from theirs?
Are you just a face in the crowd now, a stranger to the people who knew your story? You wear the smile, you type the emails, you perform the okayness, but inside you are terrified that you have become invisible.
But listen — the light does not forget. It knows you by name, even when the world's memory fails.
You are not defined by who remembers you today, but by the One who called you before you spoke your first word. The mask can slip, and the light will still be there, holding the identity the world let go.
